Why are we needed  ?

 

The Double-Glazing Industry has a terrible reputation, alongside most of the Building Trade, all caused by a few rogue traders who have left the public confused and worried over allowing people into their home to provide even a simple survey and quotation.

 

Feed back from enquirers using our service has shown that fear of over zealous sales people outstaying their welcome and generally being too persistent was of most concern to them and they welcomed the work we have carried out in providing an introduction to companies who will not allow this action by their employees.

 

Those companies who wish to register their interest with us have to demonstrate that they are reputable, honest and trustworthy in all their dealings and are prepared to sign our Customer Service Pledge to support their applications.

 

We carefully vet their business by visiting their premises, interviewing personnel at all levels

( not just the MD but the people YOU would deal with ), looking at their working practices, quality of products, checking on their installations for fitting skills, reliability, and after care service facilities.

 

At a higher level we also look at their financial stability, FENSA or CERTASS accreditations and insurance backed guarantee schemes and company history.

 

Registered companies are re-checked on an annual basis.

 

By only allowing companies with the highest ethics and abilities to register with us we can take away the guesswork for the enquirer who has little other choice than picking a name out of a directory or newspaper, often with disastrous results.

 

All our vetting is carried out by experienced trade professionals with a vast knowledge of administration, manufacture and installation procedures.
